My exciting journey towards building a stable passive income started many years ago when I realized that a single income stream was not enough to achieve financial freedom.

In the beginning of my forex trading journey I got blended by all the get-rich-quick schemes who promised 20-30% profit a month.

I bought several automated robots and after having blown a couple of accounts I realized that this is not sustainable over time.

Now money management and capital preservation comes first, profit comes second. Profits will come when we have secured sound risk management and strategies that survive unpredictability and storms in the market.

Yes, with lower risk comes less profit, but chasing 20-30% profit every month is not suitable for a long-term strategy.
I sleep better when I am set to 20-30% per year.

Forex (or the foreign exchange market) is a global market for trading of currencies. It is by far the largest market in the world, and 200 times larger than the stock market.

In brief, trading Forex can be explained with an analogy of going to a bank and trading one’s own currency with a different currency with the objective of using the currency on a trip. When you return home, you can trade the currency back. If the exchange rate have changed you will lose or gain dependent on how it has changed.
